Its been a loooong time since i've last blogged..

So heres what has happened since then..

Delia, gone back to kuching.. But i don't think i've dreaded it as much.. Though i'm happy for her that she is happy back home with her man as she called it.. =) Halloween happened with belle, charlene, june and others too.. I think the best halloween i've had.. haha.. Without the enthusiasm of everyone it wouldn't have been fun.. Awesome awesome..

Then it was exams, the same routine again for the 3 weeks !! It was absolutely boring going to broadway to eat almost every single time we had to eat.. Made some mistakes during the exams, not really formula problems but numerical errors so just hope they don't cost me the exams.. And the last exam damn f**king f**king f**king f**king tough man, and the worst thing it was in the human movement gym with out any aircon whatsoever in 39 deg weather.. The paper was so hard that even my friend that was teaching me said it was hard.. Hopefully i come out unscathed.. Plz god let me be fine..

During my exams we had a rubbish bag in the sink that was definitely getting very full and yet a housemate who was free and all he did was just add to the rubbish and just go back to his room.. Even with the landlady coming doesn't even make an effort to vaccuum the house with his free time while others were having exams..

Anyway the day after my exams i flew straight back to Singapore.. Home sweet home =) From which i had my fix of prata and chicken rice.. Then jetted off to Hong Kong and Macau where i spent about 8 days of pure shopping and eating shopping and eating with baby.. I definitely feel fat after this trip, you can't imagine the number off egg tarts i have eaten.. HAHA.. There was the debate of which egg tart was better, and i can conclude in my opinion it is the egg tart from Hong Kong by a million miles..

And now i'm back home.. =)

Almost the end of september..

In just about one and a half weeks it will be the end of September.. An email was sent by the uni saying that exam time tables will be out in probably 2 days or there abouts?

So what has been happening since.. Assignment assignments and projects.. AHHH I hate this sem.. Delia is gonna go back to Kuching for good in like 6 days time and that is another reason why i hate this sem.. No more random lets go for dinner.. Life is gonna be boring again, go to uni study then come home and repeat for the next 2 semesters.. Sigh sigh sigh.. Why can't people that I really enjoy hanging out stay rather than have to leave.. From my first sem till now it always happens.. Why does god do this to me..

Anyways just had Search for a star 2010 and i think it was pretty fun.. This year was fun participating in it again.. Just that it was so time consuming with all the practices and assignments.. And also my slacking.. omg.. Need to really do my work soon..

It is the end of august.. I think the 5th week in to uni now.. It has been a good 5 weeks of uni so far, except for when I twisted my ankle from a tackle playing football almost 1 and 1/2 weeks back. I swear i couldn't walk properly for 2-3 days? And I had elephants leg, it just looked gross, till now the swell is still there although it isn't as bad as it was.. This set back is gonna cost me what ever stamina i built up running since i came back to perth.. Picked up learning Brazilian jiu jitsu with a couple of friends and it has been a really good experience.. Really tiring but so worth the cardio work out..

Anyways all the reports and assignments are starting to pile up and i still don't have much motivation to do them till like maybe 1 week before? I know that at one week there is still time but I know i shouldn't be doing it..

2nd week of uni..

Its now the 2nd week of uni.. I think the only thing I miss about home is being with yenlee.. If she could be here it would be absolutely perfect with the friends I have here and the life over here.. =)

I would say i have started to exercise pretty regularly, last week was the start of my resolution to run.. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I ran, Friday and Saturday I played football and my legs were really really tired.. Had to rest on Sunday.. HAHA..

Talking to Belle about friendships and the life in Perth, I think my life here has had the best balance it has had in the 2 years that I have been here.. Thanks to the friends I've made.. I don't know why I keep talking about the friends here now, but I think thats because I have found where I belong right here.. I know I used to feel lonely and dread coming back to Perth but now I know that I don't.. Thank you friends.. I hope you know who you are if you read this.. =)

The rollercoaster ride of happy and sadness has begun..

So i'm pretty much free the rest of the day.. I really miss the peck on the lips or on the cheek, and also the hugs.. A few more months to go..

Uni this semester will be a real challenge.. 4 units all have something which is 60% or higher.. EP has a 70% project, 2 have 70% final exams and the last one 60% exam.. OMG.. Why can't engineering have something that allows us to pass first like commerce or something but in the end when we do have something like that, there is also the fail component like you must get 35% from the final exam.. Engineering sometimes really SUCKS!!!

Another friend has graduated another friend has gone home.. Friends that i seem to build some kind of bonds with always seem to go home, but those that are a pain in the ass haven't left.. One and a half years more till i graduate.. At least i still have some people around in perth that i can call my friends and not some acquaintances whom i'll probably never ever contact once i don't see them.. Hopefully they don't all leave as quickly as well.. Sighz..

Day 2 in Penang

My 2nd day in Penang and its been an awesome food adventure.. from waking up at 8 in the morning and going to eat Hokkien prawn mee to having wan ton mee, chee cheong fun, ondeh ondeh at one coffee shop and then just down the street stop to eat goreng pisang, chempedak and kuih ku doh or something like that..

Then travelling down to the Kek Lok Si temple where there was a huge kuan yin statue made out of bronze apparently.. It was quite a sight to see.. Spent like an hour or slightly more looking around and snapping photos.. It was a pretty hot day and after the breakfast that we had felt so lazy to move around.. HAHA.. But after coming down from the temple we went in search of the famous Penang Laksa in the area at the market, we found one and it was really crowded so we assumed that it was the one that we were looking for haha.. Sat down and initially ordered 2 bowls for the four of us, but when i tried the soup i knew i could order one for myself.. It was practically one of the best Penang Laksa's i've tasted.. After that we had muah chee and siew pao.. The siew pao was nice and hot when we ate it..

We then made our way down to Jalan Penang where we went to search for the famous Chendol which we were asking around since yesterday.. Today we asked an old man where the stall was, he told us the direction to walk and all that but later as he rode his bike further up, he stopped at the street where the chendol was and pointed to us where the stall was located at and guided us to the stall.. What an awesome Encik man.. The chendol stall is just a roadside stall where people stand around holding their bowls and finishing the chedul as its spelt here, filled with gula melaka, coconut milk, red beans, green worm like jelly and ice.. It was freaking awesome..

Then it was off to find the peranakan mansion.. We thought of taking the car down to the restored mansion but a lady heard us talking abt it and told us that it was nearby and we could walk there, but with the heat and the distance it wasn't a very good walk.. haha.. My feet ached and felt quite crappy after reaching there.. It wasn't all that great cuz the peranakan mansion though some parts authentic it wasn't very well planned out and was a slight disappointment.. We had to take a long walk back to the car then went to look for a place called Gurney drive.. Filled with all the hawker stalls it looked good from the outside, but hearing from a local friend we made our way to a more local spot called Jalan Macalister.. There we had lots and lots of food.. Curry mee, Char kway teow, Sting ray, O Luak, Chicken wings, Chye tau kueh, Cheng teng, and there might have been some more that i missed out.. BUT !!! It was an awesome food adventure.. Back to singapore tomorrow..

It was a good day..

It was a nice day today.. Woke up early today and i was supposed to go and run but.. I was lazy and didn't feel in the best of health to go and run.. But thats just an excuse.. Then had lunch and went to JB with yenlee and her sister.. Didn't do all that much except eat and just walk around.. The only thing i bought the whole day was a magazine.. lol..

Ever eaten an Auntie Annie's pretzel before? In singapore its costs like 3+ SGD? But in JB it cost 3.20 RM... OMG half the price for the same satisfaction.. LOL.. Then there was Seoul Garden for dinner.. Which was also just as cheap.. And lastly before we left we went to Secret recipe to eat some cakes and omg the Caramel Cheese cake was the bomb, not that sweet but just perfect and the cream cheese was awesome, the base had pecan nuts in it.. It was absolutely divine.. HAHA..

Bored and sick..

My throat has been killing me the day.. I feel so tired but i just can't sleep throughout the whole day.. Never felt this sick in such a long time.. All the germs from yenlee just as i came back and she was recovering.. So all that i've been doing the whole day is stone at home trying to recover from the really painful sore throat taking medication and trying to get as much shut eye even if i can't really sleep.. I also know i was just on the verge of being sick when you can feel the ache in the bones or joints.. It has been a really long day doing absolutely nothing..

Watching Avatar The Last Air Bender.. Only watching the cartoon now so that i know what the movie will be about.. hahaha.. but its been a pretty good cartoon so far.. Quite entertaining to watch, so hopefully the movie will be good based on the trailers so far =)

Gonna try and get some rest for the night.. Good night world..

Its the 1st of july..

The first of July...

The start of a new month and when my exam results will be coming out in about one and a half weeks time? I think.. But hopefully based on the thing where i can check the number of credit points at the parking permits i have already passed all my exams.. Just a matter of how well i will do only and with fingers crossed i can do well.. My most confident semester to date..

This has also probably been the best semester to date.. No more friends who forget i even exist.. Sad part is one of probably my best friends from University will be leaving cuz he has graduated and is leaving perth probably for good.. What a short but really really awesome time spent.. Thanks for the memories.. Hope there can be more in the future.. =)

Its so so so so good to be home.. There is Yenlee, family, food, durians and especially no worries of exams.. what more can a guy ask for right? I just recently played mahjong after such a loooong time.. And i ended up totally playing for fun no win no loses.. So sad man.. Family time has been good with all the makan sessions..

i'm just about to go clubbing and i'm now blogging.. haha..

Anywayz.. exams have already ended, these are the few exams i've actually come out feeling pretty good about them.. although they have carried on longer than usual it has now ended.. Which is an absolute sigh of relief..

I've never ever really been a big fan of watching the world cup, but since its in South Africa and the timings are just about right to watch.. Why not watch right? but honestly speaking its not that exciting to watch.. don't find it one bit exciting.. Tomorrow i'll be going on yet another road trip, a road trip every semester so far.. awesome.. always something different.. so exciting :) and lastly next week by this time i'll be at home.. home glorious home.. all the food and all the people..

I MISS HOME !!!!

i just wanna go home... and i know thats pretty close.. which also means that exams are pretty close.. which also means wth am i doing typing this blog right? lol.. tiredness and no motivation to study today.. last night was a long night studying till 2 and then i had to wake up at 8 in the morning to go to lecture.. tired tired tired..

what sucks too is that my laptop which is the one thing i almost really can't do without when i'm here in perth is slightly incapacitated.. i still can use it and all but the thing is the adapter wire burnt out on me.. i have no idea why but i had to order another one from ebay as the one when i went to see at dick smith to take a look at, would have freaking cost me a whopping $109, whereas ordering online though i don't think its the best quality one is only 17++ Aus just that it takes 3-8 working days to get here and that could mean like 2 weeks.. its been about 9 days in total.. not working days, since i ordered and its still not here..

life sucks studying for exams.. must have that motivation.. Common me.. i can do it..

but what has turned out pretty cool so far is this semesters cell has been super enjoyable man.. you know that most of the time u will find friends who will probably just become acquaintances aft hanging out for a while here and there.. but there could be close friends formed here..

Its been a while...

Hey to those who read this blog... To Linus and belle and to others whom i don't know if u read this too.. :)

Anyway uni's 4th week is ending soon.. the projects have piled up and the suffering has only begun.. SOOOOOO many things to think about.. I miss home everyday, but i also like it here at times.. What to do What to do???? I also miss the simple hug, my hand around the shoulder, the little pecks on the lips..

Since i've been here i do nothing but stay at home, go to uni, some sports here and there.. What else can i do? Its been great that i've discovered a great group of friends that i can really talk so much nonsense with.. Haha.. Its damn funny i tell you.. I've also been working for the last few weeks since uni started but its been so weird.. Never really had a permanent shift yet, keep jumping around on shifts.. WHY can't they just put me on something permanent and give me the two shifts that i really want !!! ARGH !!! Never mind, i shall just wait till the holidays to make all that money..

On to sports.. Liverpool has been one of the most boring teams that i have watched since Gerrard Houllier was in charge of Liverpool.. Watching Liverpool play against Wigan, I would have rather watched Hannah Montanna at that time.. omg it really sucked.. I still say fire Rafa Benitez, I think its time for a change in managers.. He's had six years to try and change the club but up till now...... We still can't get close to the top..

But like my friend Kelvin posted it is one more step to graduating.. I've throughly enjoyed my stay back in Singapore for that three months..

Turn of the year

The new year is upon us.. though not so new since i'm only posting now which is the 11th almost 12th of jan.. But this year is a new year and everything that was done in 2009 should be forgotten.. Not really everything but just forget the bad stuff and always remember the good ones but learn from the bad ones.. I hope and pray that this year will be a good one and that bonds with friends and family will get stronger.. This year will mark a quarter of a century, oh how i feel time has just passed me by.. Graduation, Work, Marriage, Family all await me in the next few years.. What can i expect from all this?

Uni is gonna be starting soon, one months time in fact.. I'm really gonna miss home again considering i'm probably not gonna come back after this semester for holidays just to work in perth and save up some money so that i can have a good trip down to Hong Kong at the end of the year with Yenlee and friends..

So far since i've been home i believe i've thoroughly enjoyed myself so far, except for the working part which i have no choice but to try and earn my own keep.. Gone to kuching where i ate non-stop !! Watched a musical, watched movies, shopping.. And i'll be going to genting soon.. Woohoo..

It has been a really looooooong time....

Hey there its been sooo long since i've lasted posted up anything.. i doubt anyone else would reads this anymore.. but whoever reads this good for you.. haha.. Anywayz alot has happened over the time i haven't made a post. Exams, finally went to little caesars to eat, Yenlee coming to perth, Travelling down south to Denmark and Albany, Liverpool getting knocked out of the champions league, Me coming back to singapore, me getting my awaited results and i think thats shoud be most of it.. haha..

So first was exams.. It was stressful man going through all the 3 units that i failed the first time.. luckily i had friends who were taking the units also although they were so much younger and they are the next generation of engineers.. But it turned out alright as i managed to pass all.. although i didn't do great in results i'm just happy i didn't fail anything again.. 2 Passes and 2 Credits.. 2 Passes being DYNAMICS and Math.. And the other 2 are MMS and Materials.. I really prayed really hard.. Thanks to the big man up there for the strength.. On the last day of exams i finally got my chance to go to little caesars with my cell.. and the pizzas were pretty good.. its supposed to be about the dessert pizzas but i think they just weren't as great as it was hyped up to be.. i think the other pizzas were better in terms of taste and creativity..

Then there was Yenlee coming to perth.. it was really great when she came.. but it would have been so much better if i had a car to bring her around with.. so many more places that i wanted to bring her but just couldn't because the transport system in perth is so inadequate.. I was supposed to borrow Jamie's car but she delayed her flight by 2 days and then broke her bumper just as she was leaving.. What luck.. So in the end couldn't go very far and had to follow people around.. I hate not having a car on my own.. Don't think Yenlee fully enjoyed the trip because we couldn't do very much and depended on others to move around..

And next up was the road trip down to Albany and we stayed at Denmark.. It was an awesome trip.. We stayed in Denmark which is about an hours or two away from Albany.. The accomadation was nice.. a nice fireplace where it made the guys feel MAN starting the fire up!! haha.. Anyway the trip with all the scenary the friends.. it was sooo gd..

Exams are here..

wow i haven't been to this page in a while.. and i've kinda got nothing to do right now as i don't really feel like studying right now.. so i'm just filling this up and i'm gonna sleep soon so that i can wake up early and hopefully hit the books.. exams are just like 3 days away.. been studying in the library everyday.. Yenlee is coming in 2 weeks time and we're going down south on the 23rd of nov to the 26th of nov.. i'm soooooooooo looking forward to these 2 events.. highlights of my semester so far..

tonight our cell went to tony romas and it is probably our 2nd last dinner together as a cell.. as i look back this cell has been interesting and nice.. i kinda like this cell cuz i've probably built bigger and better relationships with the friends that i'm closer with.. and i thank god for the friendships that i've been really blessed with..

Being in uni and being so far away from home friends are just your everything.. and also just hanging on to the things back home..

Its already the 24th of September.. and the exam timetable is already out :( depressing.. lol.. just means that there is no more time to play/monkey around.. my exams are happening on the 2,4, 9 and 10th of nov.. and then the 15th yenlee comes, I think I've roughly jotted down where i should bring yenlee to.. so if anyone reading this has ideas on where i can bring her to, do let me know !! in just over a week i'll be moving to a new environment where i hope i can call it home till i graduate.. Its about this time of the year i'm starting to miss home and the food again..

Just recently on Saturday we had Search for a Star 2009 and this year I was part of the performance a group of 19 guys, i know thats alot of ppl but it was tight. We did something like this.

Unlike last year where i was just a spectator and cheered on my friends.. I actually really enjoyed being part of the performances though we had to be there at like 8am in the morning and then we had to practice and wait for almost 12 hours till it started at 730pm.. everyone said it was really good.. I really liked a few other performances and performers which i think did great jobs.. Angelene in her role in drama was really good !! I also enjoyed the Michael Jackson medley the choir did.. Can't wait to watch our performance on the DVD.. i'll put up more pictures when i can get them..

its been almost a month since i last posted up an entry.. and life has been pretty alright so far.. and this is how it has been so far.. first up the only family i had in perth has gone back to singapore leaving me here.. secondly i'm still missing home.. but not as much as i was at the start of the year.. i really hope that this semester would turn out fine.. thinking of the same 3 subjects again gives me the shivers though i'm really doing things differently this time around.. i can't wait till the end of the year till yen lee comes hereee and the exams are over !!!

I'll be taking part in SFAS aka Search for a star, this year if u guys remember what i posted about it last year.. haha.. seems like its gonna be fun.. though we are only practicing like once a week which i think should be more than enough and if its more its gonna be so hard to gather everyone.. i think the auditions will be soon..

I still so want a car of my own.. because at the moment now i have Amelia's car which she didn't sell before she left and now i'm kinda using it until it gets sold so if anyone wants to buy or knows anyone who wants to buy a Manual, Red 2.0 litre imprezza at 11k do give me a call .. why can't my father tell me i give u like 3k and go and buy a car.. hahaha.. how i wish it was that simple.. also recently at cell we had a pot luck and we each had to kinda cook something except vera didn't cook anything she just came with her taste buds.. haha.. and i cooked up some carrot cake.. which i don't think turned out very well but the cell still ate it anyway i think they were just being nice.. didn't have the same consistency as the ones that we eat at the hawker centres.. anyway this was a break from my studying so tata..

Back again......

Hey.......

I'm now back in perth again.. and the circumstances really sucked.. i was on a standby ticket to coming back to perth so what it meant was i would only get onto a flight was if there was a seat available only then would i get onto the flight.. and the 15th morning was the best chance for me to go back and i only knew that the night before.. luckily i was already half packed but the feeling really sucks just leaving so abruptly.. i already miss home.. this semester i almost cried going through the gates again.. luckily my mum wasn't there.. had she been there and cried at the airport i think i would have done the same thing as the start of the year..

as i start this semester.. i feel hurt but i still feel alright too.. it hurts to have to relive the wounds of my first semester this semester but i also feel happier what i achieved decently in the Feb semester, not say extremely good but its alright i guess, after coming off a horrendous 1st semester.. but i can say engineering is hard, hopefully i've gotten used to it.. i'm glad i didn't change course which i was really contemplating.. thanks to loved ones and those who persuaded me to stay where i am.. could never be where i am without any of you I LOVE all of you.. thank you for what ever prayers were said for me.. to those who feel disappointed because of last sem.. take it from me.. there is only up now.. just work hard and it will be fine.. MISS HOME more because of the circumstance..

Hey everyone.. its really been a long long time since i last blogged.. haha.. either been busy with exams or just too lazy to blog.. Cuz i'm at home.. and i don't think i really blog when i'm home, as in when i'm in Singapore.. anyway what's happened so far.. Had my exams, finished and then came back to surprise yenlee as she thought i was working that day.. it was pretty fun trying to organise something that someone doesn't know.. something that zion always seems to fail.. lol.. anyway being home has been wonderful although the weather has been terribly hot and humid.. i'm just gonna pray i do well for my exams.. still so damn worried about the exams.. haiz.. will the heartache be over? by the time i go back to perth some would have graduated and will be missed and i'll still be stuck there having to slug it out with the books.. but at least there are some great friends over there.. why can't everything i like be in one place.. lol..

The 24th of May was my 7th anniversary together with Yenlee.. and i really can't imagine my life without her in it at all.. being with her makes life seem so much simpler.. someone u can always turn to when you need to talk to.. she basically completes me..

Marks the day of the end of the semester in terms of normal studying days..

i think i've been pretty thankful for this semeser.. got to know alot more ppl alot better.. got to meet new friends.. i'm also thankful for the support i've gotten from whoever.. i'm just knda thankful for all the mornings when i can open my eyes and say that i'm alive..

Another week gone...

Another week gone... Another week closer to exams.. Another week of my life gone.. Another week away from the ones i love... haiz.. so depressing.. lol.. but what the heck its just Another week closer to graduating.. Another week closer to seeing yenlee.. Another week closer to seeing family.. Recently i've just felt kinda detached from alot of stuff and i don't know why.. just want to get the semester over.. why can't life be easier?

Anywayz.. Just recently started to work at Pizza Express in mosman park on sundays.. i've met some of the people along the way through my cousin amelia and they are nice.. Feels like a good job.. especially when i get to take the shop car out to go and deliver.. Its a good breather..

The exam timetable is out.. gonna have exams on the 11th and the 13th.. sianzzz....

Just a random thought.. People come and people go.. but if you don't work at trying to get close to someone and getting to know them, the friendship will probably never work.. It takes 2 hands to clap so if you see someone trying.. don't hold back..

As the title says i got sick of studying so i decided to blog.. haha.. anywayz an update on my hamstring.. its now not so bad, doesn't really hurt anymore unless i strain it so i guess i can start to train it up again soon.. I really really want a car.. it just sucks to have to always think how am i gonna get there if i don't have a car !!! can someone just drop a car right infront of me with the car keys landing in my hands?? that would be so awesome!! I was talking with amelia and thought wouldn't it be cool if we could open up a food business.. The weather over here now is getting cold but only in the nights and the mornings though.. though the days are still so warm under the sun.. soon all the long pants and socks have to come out.. i'm so afraid of exams right now.. they are coming.. although i've done alot more studying then i have the last semester i just can't get it out of my head.. So many thoughts in my head..

The days have just been passing on by...... how exams are approaching... I miss everything there is at home.. and i really mean everything... Just recently i pulled my hamstring AGAIN !! and it hurts AGAIN !! and its my left one this time.. the last time i hurt it was last year but it was my right leg, so i've just been limping around walking really slow.. so i'm not gonna be able to play soccer again for a while and i have to build the muscle back up again.. so much trouble !!

Back from sydney..

It all started with the long weekend of good friday.. a absolutely perfect week.. a 4 day school week and then the term break.. midway through the term break i went to sydney for my cousins birthday.. reaching sydney and once my aunt picked me up from the airport and as we drove back to her house i could just tell that sydney was so different from perth.. it really felt like a city, felt like home in becauses of the bustling city.. and the next day i would get to see family.. and how i wished yenlee could have been there too.. really miss her when i'm here.. miss the hugs and her being beside me.. words just really can't replace her being with me.. anyway the wedding was awesome although the mass that my cousin wanted was so long it bored me to death.. lol.. it was a traditional latin mass.. didn't understand a word and just really didn't interest me at all.. although the singing and the songs were so good.. seeing and hearing from my cousin who just got married just really inspires me because he has found someone who really sees eye to eye with him.. i think he's set a bench mark.. haha.. he even played a song on the guitar he wrote for his wife during the dinner.. how does one live up to the standard.. I had so much fun dancing and having fun with everyone.. then sadly had to come back to perth the very next morning.. and now the week is almost over again.. a test has just passed.. assignments have been handed up.. and in just about 6 weeks time.. exams will be here again.. its scary its just really scary...

I had a conversation with, someone and we were on the topic of bf's and gf's because of some of the relationships around us we started talking about them and there was one conclusion.. Every relationship that happens should just make life easier for one another and not make ones life difficult for each other.. the relationship should help to alleviate one anothers pain.. why would anyone want to be in a relationship which causes yourself so much pain and suffering? shouldn't there be more happy times than painful ones?

I think this song has alot of meaning and some of the lyrics just really speak how someone would feel to you when you know he/she is the one.. and i think this is what she made me feel since the day i was with her..

Have you ever woken up to the smell of fresh bread which has just been baked? let me tell you that it is one of the best things ever.. the aroma of freshly baked bread is heavenly.. My housemate chuck has this bread maker which he of course makes his own bread and he's been baking fresh bread ever since i came back to perth but up till now i've never had the opportunity to wake up to the smell.. i'd always be fully awake and walk into the kitchen then would i be able to smell the fresh bread.. last night i saw him put in the ingredients and i knew he was baking the bread but when i woke up and smelt it it was like best thing ever..

the mid sem break is coming and i have 2 upcoming quizzes.. one is civil and the other math after the break.. i've been trying to study but i'm just so afraid that i won't do well.. i think last sem has really scarred me.. just can't get the stupid thing out of my mind..

Sunday, Josh, vera, belle, chong wei and myself went cycling.. it was really something different.. and it felt soo good.. the weather was just perfect.. it wasn't hot and it wasn't cold until towards 4+ the wind started blowing and it started to get cold.. but it was really fun.. vera packed lunches for us we sat at some part of kings park to eat and chat.. can check out some of the pics here..

Another few days have passed by.. and it will be the end of the week again.. ARGH !! time flies so fast.. doing projects, studying and having fun over the weekends is all we ever do.. but what else can we do? i wish i was home right now where i could give Yenlee a big hug.. eat prata at the coffee shop and also tau huay.. yumm... enough about food..

its time to hit the books again.. quizzes are comin up.. civil and math.. but before that we have warman trials.. its been real interesting going through warman project.. figuring out how a mechanical contraption is supposed to work.. haha.. so much of "oh we can do this.. but how are we gonna do it?" hahaha.. and also how we gonna transfer a baton.. if who ever read this is interested about Warman and just wanna know what its about building robots and competition.. just click here.. so interesting.. but so time consuming.. haha..

and now my fav topic which is football & LIVERPOOL !! 13 goals in 3 games.. against some of the toughest opponents around.. what a run we've been on.. just wished the international break wasn't around to spoil the form of the club.. maybe there is just some hope in overturning "manure" lol.. common man u.. LOSE !!!

Time has really been passing pretty quickly.. its almost the weekend all over again.. very soon in the blink of an eye.. Exams will be here again.. and everyone's anxieties will be shooting through the roof.. and we can only prepare for it.. Just last night i went to a friends convo.. and was thinking i can't wait for that time to come.. because when that happens means that means yenlee's bond is finishing and we could really start our lives together.. but on a sadder note i don't think very many of my current friends will be around.. most of them will graduate before me.. it may only have been 9 months since i've gotten to know them but they feel like some of the closest friends i've ever made..

Onto football.. hahahaha... what an exciting week last week.. first the thrashing of Real Madrid which is only the most decorated club in european history.. and 2nd the icing on the cake thrashing of Manchester United 4-1.. and it was an absolutely awesome game which liverpool deserved to win.. and this win made me realize that some Manure (what my friend david likes to call them) fans are really such sore losers.. common man just admit that liverpool played a better game and get on with life.. We(Liverpool) may not win the league but we haven't beaten Man U twice in a season in such a long time i almost forgot wat it feels like.. annnnnnd it feels really good.. hahahahahahahahaha... we will get the title soon.. Manure fans.. watch out..

its the weekend again.. the time just really passes by so fast.. we're like midway through march already.. seems like only yesterday we were having a blast of a new years party at vera's house.. i think i've gotten back into the swing of things and being happier letting it all out on the blog.. anyway having friends that are cheerful too helps.. haha.. just came back from the casino and i lost $10 !!! omg.. haha.. at least i'm still $30 up on burswood.. haha.. i want to go fishing.. i want to buy my own fishing rod.. i want to work.. there's so many things that i wanna do.. but first get my distinctions.. haha.. hopefully if i work hard enough for it i will get it..
i just watched a couple of movies.. the first one.. gran torino.. the trailers made it look really good.. but actually its a pretty crap show.. so damn draggy but the end was kinda sad.. in my opinion some of the acting also wasn't really good too.. then i watched confessions of a shopaholic.. that was a total chick flick but it was a really good show to watch.. the story was nice.. i kinda like chick flicks sometimes.. i prefer a good story line over action.. although if a great story line came with action.. that would be so much better.. lol

it might only be the 3rd week of uni.. but i can feel stressed to a certain extent.. don't really understand certain things.. and its sometimes so hard to depend on others when you have to understand it and not just memorise it on your own.. but i've been enjoying the company of friends when i study.. but i feel i still need to put in more effort to do well and aim for the distinctions i really crave..

On to football.. haha.. watched an absolutely amazing game in which Liverpool as in words from the press humiliated Real Madrid.. a team that is really on a streak in the La Liga.. 4-0 was what the final score line read.. it just really makes you wonder how a team can play so well in europe and not be as consistent in the EPL.. maybe because its how tough the EPL is really getting.. just look at the bottom half of the table and they are only seperated by a few points and anyone can be put in the drop zone after a string of bad results.. hopefully this weekend we will shut the mouth of those Man Utd fans of which most of which just love to run off their mouths.. when did these Man U fans become fans? before they won anything? soon they will be man city fans.. who knows?

i don't really know why i keep coming back to the blog.. but i guess its just one way i can really just express myself without really talking to anyone else cuz sometimes its just so hard to talk to anyone else about problems.. although i know ppl do read it.. what i feel inside now i just can't really explain.. just feel so uneasy so sian just soo sian.. just need somewhere to go and scream my lungs out.. sometimes its painful to know when u roughly know what someone thinks good about you and then changes that stance just because he doesn't really like that idea.. i'm just kinda screaming in my head right now..

Hey to the unknown readers out there.. lol...

so far this has been a decent week.. balance of playing and studying.. doing work.. meals and all that.. its been excellent.. although i really haven't been home much cuz there really isn't very much to do at home so going to josh's house to cook and enjoy company is the best remedy.. haha.. i miss going out to the cinemas to watch lots of movies.. its sooo expensive over here.. sucks man.. would love to hang out with amelia more often.. but she seems busy.. and sometimes i am too..

just a random note.. lol.. i think in life we must learn to live life and not let life live us.. we must make the situation better as the situation will never get better on its own at all.. live life to the fullest.. don't try to resist what is put right in front of you.. if it doesn't happen for you try and make it happen.. thats all you can ask of yourself.. its like money.. if you don't work money ain't just gonna drop from the sky and into your lap isn't it?

Hey hey...

its been an interesting week so far.. cooking dinners and enjoying company.. but i guess it still doesn't beat being hom eback in singapore with yenlee and family.. i still would have loved to stay at home after such heartache.. but like what i learnt from max truely at the first real cell of the semester was really not to live in the past.. plan for the future but look at the now.. i usually don't think of the past that much cuz i know that it is absolutely over.. but i really can't help but look at what happened just last semester.. it still really hurts.. but i'm really looking at right now what i have.. a super supportive girlfriend and family.. they truely mean the world to me.. what else could a person ask for? i'm also really grateful to all the awesome friends and cousin that i have here.. they make life so much easier over here.. what would i do without em? a family away from home..

Liverpool has been my favourite team for a really really really long time.. i believe since around the time that ian rush retired which was in 96.. what the hell were they doing last night man... ARGH !!! can't even beat a middlesbrough side which has not won in 3 months.. wth.. what was rafa thinking.. putting skrtel on the right when carragher should have been there.. babbel the useless player he keeps playing.. what does he see in him !!! i think the premiership is gone.. we're just a different in EUROPE !!! cull the giants.. lose to the small..

I'm Back

Hi everyone.. i don't know how many ppl would tune back in to this blog cuz i haven't blogged in such a long long time.. but i'm back.. cuz i'm back in perth.. and i guess it gets very boring again and i've got time on my hands to do such things once again.. lol.. anyways i had the best time in a long time during my holidays.. i didn't have the best time receiving my results.. nvr expected such heartache.. but anyway its a new semester so i'm gonna be working doubley hard to improve them greatly..

going back to singapore i found really good friends back there.. those like Vic, Garreth, Vera and Josh.. Even Edwin.. Vera's very long time friend.. it was so good going out for movies, supper and dinners and i swear i've never watched so many movies in such a short time.. catching almost any other movie i thought i liked.. i really enjoyed seeing my family and of course yenlee all over again.. it was such a good feeling.. not feeling as lonely as i did in perth.. during my holidays i went to beijing and harbin in china.. it was sooooo cold.. omg.. went to harbin and the weather was perpetually under 0 deg celcius.. my mum even got frost bite when we went up the mountain.. it was minus 30 i think the dao you (Tour guide in mandarin) mentioned.. going to beijing and bargaining was such a fun thing too.. ahaha.. all the food was so damn good.. just popping into the 小吃( little eateries) was cheap and tasteful..

i think the last day before i came back was really one of the best i've had.. spending valentines day with yenlee.. we really spent a whole day together enjoying each others company and i swear i really love her lots.. someone i'll never give up for any other girl.. other than maybe my mum or sister.. valentines day wasn't the usually expensive things cuz but i really loved the day.. spending time with her time flew past.. which i didn't really want it to end..

and then the day came when i had to come back to perth and that was on a sunday the 15th of feb.. I felt so lost when i was coming back to perth.. i don't know if i will be able to do it all over again.. when i left for the customs i gave my mum a hug.. and saw my mum crying and then i started to cry.. which i think i just didn't want to leave home again.. i don't think i've ever been so emotional in such a long time.. i waved mum good bye and walked in still crying.. omg.. and aft i had stopped my father had just reached singapore from a flight from india and went to meet with me near the gate.. when i saw him i just felt i can't let him down again.. all the money he's spent on me.. just can't let him down.. i shall just stop here and stop blabbering and just work hard..

its only the second day back and i've already eaten 2 suppers... its so unhealthy.. but thats the only thing i can do in singapore... haha.. so far luckily i've not eaten anything twice yet.. prata, duck rice, lor mee, fried wantons made by my father, claypot chicken rice though its just the food court version, laksa yong tau foo and bbq stingray... all such good food.. all so unhealthy man but.. what else can we do in singapore right?

i love being back home but i also feel bored too.. really nothing much to do here.. can't think of much to do.. i can't imagine what i used to do here when i was staying here for so long.. perth somehow just feels so different..

Hey everyone..

i think its been such an awesome week since coming back from coral bay.. Doing nothing but just eating, cooking, slacking, gaming, fishing with josh lau, vera, eufei and co.. that is the life.. nothing more in life you can ask for but friends and food.. hahaha..

first day back home and the food is gggrrreeeeeeeaaaat.. prata for breakfast with a cup of teh.. and lunch which was duck rice and sugar cane.. omg.. too bad i didn't get what i originally wanted which was my favourite chicken rice, unfortunately it was closed.. food here is so good and cheap.. one only realizes it when you have been away..

hey anyone reading this if you have a good idea what to eat and have no company give me a call man.. haha..

Gone North..

Its been a while since i last blogged i think.. haha.. don't really remember how long.. but thats kinda because i've been away for a short 5 day road trip to Coral bay.. it was such an excellent break man.. the weather was perfect.. the company was perfect and the activities were perfect.. don't have many photos now but once i get them i'll post them up..

46 people went up and i believe everyone of us had so much fun.. it all started sunday morning the 23rd we left curtin and we drove for about 6 hours to badingarra (i think thats the spelling) where we camped and what i mean by camped.. slept in the cars that we drove up in.. hahaha.. that night the while driving around in the darkness just looking up in the sky you could see the beautiful stars.. and i really mean beautiful cuz we could see sooo many stars some friends even saw shooting stars.. it was absolutely amazing.. we waited for the last car to catch up because they left perth late due to some other stuff before we carried on the journey to coral bay.. along the way we passed through places like geraldton and carnavon.. we went fishing.. went on tours.. just slacked.. it was sooooo gooooood...

at coral bay we went for a eco tour which had snorkling and we saw dolphins and lots of turtles.. and they were huge..

the fishes near the boat when the guides through in the food to attract the fishes.. it was really nice..

Counting the days...

I'm just counting the days till i go back... which is as of today is 21 days which is exactly 3 weeks.. hahaha... anyway since the end of my holidays... its pretty good, just chilling and relaxing and also going out... and also some shopping..

Just recently on friday night after my exams went to watch a movie... Body of lies... i think it was a really good movie man... so different from the normal terrorist movies... the different methods of people doing what they do best..

And today even though i'm on break already... i woke up at 7.15 in the morning.. accompanied de xin in going to get her car serviced.. and then after that we headed down to the city for breakfast.. because we couldn't wait around while her car was being serviced which would have taken too long... lol.. and we ended up at a place called tiger tiger.. you would only know the place if you have been there before or you managed to catch the sign just outside of the coffee place.. tiger tiger is a small little eatery/coffee place.. i had a flat white which wasn't bitter and sour.. the coffee was really good i must say.. and for breakfast i had baked eggs with chorizo and with sour dough and all of this was in a tomato based sauce.. it wasn't alot... but it tasted good.. pretty good food...

Doesn't the place just look so nice... all the chairs and tables that they had were unique... looked as if they had picked up everything individually from many different places.. they even had a bench which was a probably a pew from a church before..

De xin wondering... Wheres my food... lol... it didn't really take that long.. haha...

all that stressing is finally over about two solid weeks being in the library studying... i can finally breathe a sigh of relief... now i have 2 weeks till going up north.. wth am i going to do? hahahaha...
hopefully i can get some short term work... earn a little bit of mulla before i go back home... it would be so good...

Why?

Why is it that god has put us here on this earth for us to go through exams..? To go through painful emotions? To feel hurt?

Another random thought i had today was when i heard a few people talking about close friends and all that.. We have to choose who we want to love because we know that these people from our own judgement would love us back.. and us humans want to be loved.. want to be wanted by others.. want to be appreciated by others.. thats what we want.. so we ourselves have to pick and to choose who we want as our family when we are home away from home.. if sometimes friends have to try so hard to be friends why do we need to bother? friendship should come easily cuz we have fun with one another.. there is that certain limit to trying to be friends with others.. just learn to stick with those who appreciate.. meet more people and you will find more people to love and appreciate you..

Walking home from the library at 11 pm in the night is a pretty scary thing... but it felt really good to walk back in the cold wind tonight... Jeremy offered to send me back but i think i owe him too much for always sending me back.. really wished i had my own things so i didn't have to depend on others all the time to send me back because i live further from the rest.. but still i enjoyed the walk back.. gave me time to relax and clear my mind not to think of anything at all.. felt really good..

aren't the quiet road such a change from the normal hustle and bustle of life?

Busy busy busy...

i haven't really had alot of time to come and blog... but this is wat has been happening so far... i've been studying doing my last few assignments for the semester and calculating the % from my various assignments and quizzes or tests that i've accumulated... and i must say it hasn't been very impressive.. but i've not failed anything thus far based on my percentages.. but i know i haven't done great either... haiz... and sianzzz... uni has been a blast.. but i seriously can't stop thinking about assignments when are they due and how much more marks i should need... sometimes just really scary when i think about it.. the past week other than going out for dinner with Jeremy, De Xin and Peggy for dinner there hasn't been much else happening... other than going to cottessloe again on sunday.. but it was more fun this time as more people came and brought other stuff with them.. hahaha.. i just hope and pray that i can get through this semester unscathed and go back to singapore a happy happy person.. ohhhh.. one thing i forgot to mention.. haha.. during our last cell as just a cell we made a video.. hahaha..

Hey everyone... been pretty busy lately.. don't really have alot of time to post.. exams are coming.. and i still have assignments to do... god save us all.. omg.. just last sunday went down to cottesloe beach and the weather was so good.. the beaches here are sooo nice.. the sand oh so fine that its a little hard to walk and the water was soo good, it was clear, but so cold compared to the temp out of the water.. everytime i went into the water it was so cold haha.. the temp out of the water was abt 33.5 deg.. nice and warm.. but u don't really feel the heat when ur in the sun, and i think that can be the worse u don't realize you're gonna get burnt.. hahaha..

Just went out with Amelia, Kershia, De Xin and Gaby. Gaby brought along her boyfriend and his sister to dinner with us at freo a place called Clancy's.. thought we could have had crabs but was dissappointed that they didn't have it.. but there was something called Mango beer over there.. it was so interesting and tasted good.. in the end we had food like a seafood platter, seafood paella (Dunno if its the right spelling..) anyway its a dish served with rice in a tomato based sauce with all the seafood ingredients.. and also the Geraldton whiting fillets basically pieces of fish.. The food was good.. but the company was better... :) after dinner Gaby and gang went home and the rest of ust went to watch a movie.. called my Best Friends girl..

Its a pretty nice comedy.. though there weren't alot of laughing parts.. i thought that the show was pretty decent.. i just love katehudson.. don't u think she's hot? LOL

Hey all..

i guess its been a while... maybe just almost a week.. but haha.. just felt bored so well.. anywayz.. as i spend my time here in perth.. i can't help but be thankful for the friends i have over here.. cuz i think without them my life would be a total bore and i don't think i could survive uni.. they are also my family away from home.. i couldn't thank my dad more for giving me this opportunity to be able to study here.. if not i guess i'll probably be working back home.. but since i've been here i think i've learnt really much more independence.. though i would have been able to do it in singapore but i think being here has taught me so much more.. i can't wait till my exams are over and i can go back home to see me gf and family... and also food !!! lol.. Oh yeah.. and read on at your expense if u haven't watched The Duchess..

I went to watch The Dutches because i saw it was based on a true story.. and who doesn't love to watch a show based on a true story? because everything is very real.. this show was really about a girl at such a young age got married to the duke of devonshire and her sole purpose from the start was to bear him a male heir.. and it just didn't happen.. till many many years later and then she was rewarded by her husband.. a husband because rich and powerful could just do anything he wished and pleased.. i think the movie was pretty well done.. i just love true stories.. i'd say give it 3 stars.. but thats just me..

The past week...

Its been a pretty good week.. haha.. best of all there was no test to worry about... so it felt so good not having to really study harder for anything.. anywayz the exam timetable is out and i think that is is pretty crap.. First of all its like the first week just after the study break.. and Secondly i finish within the first week.. lastly.. is the 10th 11th 12th and 14th.. its total crap.. On tuesday i went out with de xin and my cousin amelia as daniel was unable to go because he needed to finish his assignments.. lol.. and we had some really good nachos.. it was in Freo, called Zapata's... on tuesday nights this place is really crowded.. so i believe there is a need to make reservations... we didn't but we were lucky to get a table.. haha..Beef Nachos with GuacamoleBeef and Chicken TacosThis was the burritos

This was the food that we ordered... it was a very good meal actually... at the end of it i was so stuffed but as it was a tuesday.. there was a gelare's just below the restaurant and we were still able to down some waffles.. and only other thing i can think of was yesterdays spring feast.. it was a good thing organized i think by the international student services in UWA where it was a foodfair... so many people from all over the uni and out of it were selling mainly food and desserts.. and drinks too.. it was so crowded and it was so lively.. it was a good night to enjoy.. i bought a sennheiser cx300.. maybe a little pricy but still cheaper than the aurvana from creative that i had before.. but i think its so worth it.. the sound is so good.. and there is a 2 yr warranty..

Perth Royal Show...

On the 3rd of Oct went to this thing called the perth royal show.. to all those who aren't in perth and is reading this.. the perth royal show is like some major carnival held i think only once a year.. and it has all these rides, entertainers, shows, showbags, stalls and also FOOD !! lol.. i had such a blast just walking around in the bustling atmosphere with all the people around..

This was probably one of the coolest things in the show.. there was this ikea booth and they too sell the showbag which included a stuffed toy of a tortoise and some other things as well.. but it also included a photo to be taken that would go onto the cover of the latest ikea catalogue.. lol.. de xin bought the show bag and then we went to take the photo... looks damn cool right? hahaha...

one of the highlights of the day was in the night.. and it started at 8pm.. they were called the v6 hylux heroes or something.. it was a group of 4 in the toyota hylux vehicles.. and they performed some really cool tricks.. just look above see how close they were travelling next to each other without even touching.. it was awesome.. the end of the day of course ended with fireworks.. and i for one really will never get sick of watching fireworks..

man i'm tired... damn tests after tests.. and also the weekly assignments... they don't ever STOP !!! omg.. anyway today i had a dynamics test and it was like this was one of the few tests which the studying helped.. half the time i go for a test and aft it it felt like studying was useless cuz it didn't help... lol.. maybe just that i hadn't grasped the subject.. its so tiring studying till late in the night and then having to wake up early for math lectures is taking its toll.. pimples !!! omg... anyway gonna try and study and enjoy the upcoming week... finally there isn't any test.. till the week aft that.. i just wanna say thank you to who ever has helped me so far.. can't wait to go home in dec..

Just today i was watching the news.. and i saw this story on a famous tv doctor who came down with cancer.. and i think his story was pretty touching.. he was actually diagnosed to have between 6 to 12 months to live.. and 2 yrs later he still lives.. and in that journey that he has been fighting the cancer tumor when it reoccurs and such he still fights on.. and in the 2 yrs since he was diagnosed.. the thing that has kept him going is the love from his wife and family.. i think love is such a powerful thing that it can overcome most things.. especially when you have the support of those that love you.. over the past few weeks i've also watched things with really good meanings.. Like recently i wastched the movie penelope and though i knew that the show was like a chick flick.. i kinda enjoyed... why you might ask?? well you can expect it to be about the usual things but the end of the story was all about people realizing things about accepting things about themselves and not hiding from themselves.. live life to the fullest no matter what you may look like no matter what others may think of you.. A person should always just live life the way they want it to be..

Search for a star...

It was a fateful 27th of september a saturday night... the night that everton was playing the wonderful liverpool at 8.30 pm.. and the night that liverpool dispatched everton 2-0 by a torres brace which i absolutely missed BECAUSE why? i went to search for a star.. to watch the stars of our cell.. Lucas and De Xin and also to cheer them on while they performed.. well i think overall it was a good night though i missed a magnificent game. In case those that read this who don't know what Search for a Star is... it is a show put up by the normal people of Zion Praise HArvest church who showcase their talents in singing.. dancing.. acting.. and such..

Look at Lucas aka Quan.. our Leprechaun or supa troopa?? lol.. doesn't he look cool in his green suspenders and the bow tie.. and alicia had to match him with all that green.. lol

This was one of the performances of the night... a quartet of 4 playing who called themselves Forbidden Colours.. it was a really good musical performance from a pianist, guitarist, cellist and lastly a violenist, if i'm right about the instruments..

Great job De xin and Lucas.. i think you guys deserve the credit having put in the amount of practices that you guys have had to attend.. probably almost uncountable.. AWESOME job.. i think it was probably worth missing the liverpool game to watch friends perform..

Ferguson Valley

Its been a short while since i last blogged lol... i would have probably blogged abt this closer to the day i went.. but well can't really be helped when i have had like assignments and tests and exams to compete with... OMGOSH its been a tiring week.. and since my mid sem exam is over on thurs... its like a WEEKEND !! well i went to a placed called ferguson valley... its somewhere near bunbury i think its in between infested places or something like that.. haha.. but its a damn nice drive down south.. probably about 2 hrs? its a nice place to go.. better scenary than going to swan valley, but swan valley suits the purpose of buying wine as its closer.. haha.. anyway the purpose for going to ferguson valley was for my dearest and only cousin in perth with me was to celebrate her birthday with her close friends and me.. lol.. and it all started in an EARLY sunday morning at 8.15 am kershia picked me up... and we headed to amelia's (aka kar jie to me) house at hamilton near freo.. and started out from there... we had 3 cars.. Marian's royal trotters which is a toyota echo which u can see just below... a Subaru and a hyundai which i didn't get a snap of..

I was travelling in Royal Trotters.. and the 2 heads that you see in front on the right is Marian and on the left is Kershia..

This was our first stop of the day at ferguson valley and it was lunch and we stopped at the place called Wild Bull... I can't imagine joining in the aussie culture of drinking alcohol in daylight... wahaha.. and the beer was pretty good.. except for the bitter which was horrible which is 3rd from the first glass... i can only remember the other 2 which was the Cider and the Irish Beer... and those 2 were definately excellent... i didn't just have beer for lunch but also a pie.. which was pretty good but didn't whip my camera out for a picture of it...

We stopped at a lavender place.. can't remember the name but they had lots of stuff in lavender... and they even served a LAVENDER cheese on the cheese platter.. it tasted like perfume in the mouth.. haha..

Next we headed to a winery called Ferguson Falls.. I didn't buy any wines though...

Next we actually went to visit a tree which was supposedly to have survived fires and whatsorts.. and it was supposed to be 300-500 years old... it was huge but really nothing much.. hahaha.. anyway we headed next to a gnome village.. haha.. and there were gnomes brought by people from all over the world and placed there.. and there were stories there... and the one just above was like my fav.. haha... cool isn't it...

Then the day ended at ferguson valley... as the sun was setting.. can u see the ray of lights coming from the clouds... doesn't it remind you of pictures of like god appearing in such granduer.. haha... It fully ended with a good meal at this thai restaurant somewhere in safety bay... the food was really good.. wahaha.. just that i think its a little far for me to go back to ever again.. haha..

My last 6 days..

Well... as u guys know from my last post i'm on my holiday "study break" but it didn't really feel fully like a break from study? it felt more like a break from probably just going to uni but in the end i still had to go to uni in the end... really sucked.. lol.. but in that period i still managed to run swim and have some fun.. i think the highlight so far for the week has been going to swan valley with good friends and good company.. basically it was me, lucas, jeremy, gary, de xin and her parents.. i think we had alot of fun going to the different winery's and tasting the wines.. and best of all for me.. finally liking a type of wine which is the port wine.. hahaha... Anywayz.. The day started out with a good picnic at some benches at a winery called houghton (i think it's spelt correctly) and it was a really nice day cool and windy that morning..I think that breakfast was in such a goooooood setting.

As you can see i was busy making up a sandwhich as i was really hungry.. haha.. and it was really nice cool and windy day that morning..Well just look at the beautiful nougat.. i tell u it tastes sooooo good... especially the soft one from mondo nougat.. it like just melts in your mouth when u take a good bite out of it... and i tell u it can be finished very quickly... Nougat gets reallllllyyy addictive..
While driving through swan valley we of course had to stop through the winery's and we stopped at a couple. and that was where we started to appreciate wines.. haha.. Jeremy and I came to the conclusion that we will never like any wines unless they are sweet.. haha.. and that would be the dessert wines and also the port which tastes really good. perfect for the after meal drink.

This was my lunch when we stopped over at a place called Duckstein.. it was really nice.. though it was a little salty.. but once u ate the meat with the mustard it tasted really good.. also the skin at the top was really crispy and when i put it in my mouth and chewed De Xin's mum from the opposite side of the table could hear the crunch when i took a good bite out of it. One thing we didn't have was the beer over there, but from a past experience the beer there is pretty nice too, just that too bad i was feeling too full for the beer.But in the end... even with all that food stuffed down from Duckstein's we were still able to fill ourselves with some Oggies ice cream.. I had Kahlua and Choc chip as the flavour for my ice cream... and it was just very very good..Take a look at the amount of wines that we bought.. haha.. and i only bought one bottle of wine.. We had like 16 bottles of wine for 5 people if we don't include De Xin's parents.. If u take a look at the centre, near the purple wrapped wine is a whopping 1.5L bottle of port.. haha.. and it just costs $19 it was meant for cell that evening which we opened and drank it.. At the end of the afternoon of all the shopping for wines, chocolate at the margaret river chocolate factory, having lunch at Duckstein's and also having desserts at Oggies ice cream over all up to that point was an excellent day.
At the end of the day we had cell... i think this was a well taken group photo.. but i duno why did i look like that... hahaha.. some stupid look.. LOL.. going in anti clockwise starting from me.. Gary, Sam, Lucas, Shawn, Ashlyn, Alicia, Nian Chee, Jorine, Jeremy, Jasper and lastly we have De Xin.. and that was about the end of the day..

Hey to anyone who reads this blog of mine.. haha.. don't know how many actually read it but hey its just for my memory sake and give some shout outs to friends and all those that i love.. Anyway if any of you thought my spoiler on Make It Happen was a spoiler.. I apologize.. haha.. next time i'll put a warning in front that the 2nd part the blog could spoil a show for some of you.. Especially if you really want to watch that show.. Anywayz.. The school one week study break has arrived and i don't know why it doesn't feel as exciting when i used to have holidays.. Maybe because i still have work to complete which really sucks man.. and trying to finish by tomorrow so that i can enjoy the rest of my hols, which i hope will be more fun going to swan valley with good company and also to margaret river with even better company... but in between i dunno what am i gonna do man.. bored like it was when i first came here.. if anyone in perth has an idea what to do just give me a call man.. i'm free to do almost anything...

a Better Day today...

Today was definately better than most of the days that i have had since i started uni.. as the day started.. i was to have a linear algebra test.. and when i woke up in the morning i was like crap, i don't think i was prepared enough for the test and so the walk to uni was shitty. I was like.. what the hell is gonna happen again. And as a couple of tests that i have sat through it hasn't always felt that good.. but today when i came out of the test i was like this felt really good and so for now i'm relieved till the next test comes along which will be after the break, then i'll worry again. HAHA. And the only other highlight of the day was a movie to destress from all the stress i've been suffering for like the past couple of weeks.. LOL.. Before the movie me and Daniel whipped up a simple meal which actually tasted quite nice..
Rice, Vege, Hamburger steaks, something like popcorn chicken which tasted good.. and lastly to top off the whole meal? BEER.. haha..

The movie that i watched was Make it Happen.. The movie wasn't what i really expected as i expected alot more dancing but it was a pretty decent movie with some dancing.. And the storyline was also not too bad but a typical kind of story.. Girl wants to follow her dreams.. Her dreams get dashed and moves on to something else.. Meets a guy.. blah blah blah.. lol.. Gives her dreams up for another cause , then goes back to it and achieves the dream.. haha.. thats how i sum up the movie..

I don't think i'd normally do this... but hey.. sometimes here in australia i've been really bored and don't know what the hell to do.. other than study and going out sometimes, which i obviously can't do very often because it would cost me... actually not me but my father one hell of a bomb.. Though i would love to start to work so that i can lighten the burden and not think so much about the money i will spend when i'm here studying...

Anyway so far about my experience's here in perth australia.. i think for me so far its has been a very very enriching experience here.. Even though i've only been away for like 2 months from my other half and obviously my family in singapore... and i swear its hard having a long distance relationship, but i think its still worth it. I also miss just being home.. But... its been really fun with my cousin Amelia and also some of the best friends some to mention, De Xin, Daniel that i've made over here.. Going out looking for good food within a decent driving radius... even though i don't have a car we have de xin... ahahaha... because of her love for food we will travel... lol.. i just hope i can do well enough in uni... it's tough man... tough i tell u... sucks sometimes too... anyway this is about all i have to say on an interesting first blog... lol
